Date City’s two Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) have created an original kamishibai based on a local folktale told in Date City; “Ame-kai Yūrei,” or “The Candy Shop Ghost.”
伊達市に伝わる昔話、「飴買い幽霊」を題材にしたオリジナル紙芝居を伊達市国際交流員の2人で作りました。
Shannen painted the images and Tony wrote the script.
シャネンが絵をかき、トニーが物語を書きました。
The purpose behind creating this kamishibai was to give Date City’s children a chance to hear English being spoken as well as to spread knowledge of Date City’s folklore to foreign viewers.
伊達市の子どもたちが楽しく英語に触れて、外国人にも伊達市の昔話を知ってほしいと思い、この紙芝居をつくりました。
