伊達市国際交流員について ・ About the Coordinators for International Relations (CIR)

　　伊達市では、 身近に英語に触れ、外国人との文化の共有、交流促進のための環境づくりを具体的に実践していくため、国際交流員が活躍しています。

       The role of the CIRs is to give close exposure to English, share foreign cultures, and all around create environments conducive to exchange in Date City.  

　　 市内で身近に英語に触れる環境づくりを進め、英語による情報発信や、将来的には、国際交流分野で活躍する人材の育成に繋げていきます。

        Through activities such as the development of environments that allow close exposure to English and dissemination of information in English, their work is tied to nurturing individuals capable of flourishing in an international field in the near future.

国際交流員の紹介 ・ Introducing the CIRs

ケイレブ　カニンガム　Caleb Cunningham

　令和8年7月より活動しています。

    Began working in July of 2026.

　ケイレブさんはアメリカ合衆国ユタ州出身で、ウェーバー州立大学で日本語の勉強を行っていました。2022年5月～8月まで神戸に留学していた経験もあります。
　Caleb is from the state of Utah in the United States of America where he studied Japanese language at Weber State University. He also studied abroad in Kobe from May to August of 2022.

　今後は、これまでの業務の経験をいかし、市民と交流しながら伊達市の魅力の発信や、英語体験事業・国際交流事業の企画、立案、実施など、幅広い分野の活動を行います。
　Using his experience, Caleb will propose, plan, and carry out a wide variety of activities, including English events and international exchange events, while simultaneously interacting with residents and promoting the charms of Date City.

　趣味：ギターを弾くこと
　好きな食べ物：とんかつ Hobbies: Playing guitar Favorite food: Tonkatsu
