Date-Made Reusable Masks ・伊達市産再利用マスク

What makes this man so incredibly fashionable?

どうしてこの男性がとてもおしゃれなのでしょう?

Undoubtedly it is his Date-made reusable mask.

まごうことなく、彼の伊達市産再利用マスクのおかげです。

With the current acute shortage of disposable face masks, Date City craftsmen have turned their talents to creating reusable face masks.

現在の深刻なマスク不足で、伊達市の職人は再利用マスクを作ることに才能を使っています。

Of course, they are in high demand.

もちろん、人気商品です。

When I went to buy one at Roadside Station Date-no-Sato RYŌZEN, the first step was obtaining a ticket.

僕が道の駅伊達の郷りょうぜんに買いに行った時、第一歩は整理券の入手でした。

Both obtaining the ticket and obtaining the merchandise requiring waiting in a line; I made sure to follow proper social distancing measures.

整理券の入手でも商品の入手でも、列に並ぶ必要がありました。自分は社会的距離をとる戦略に従いました。

However, having the masks in hand made the wait worthwhile.

しかし、マスクが手に入ったので待った甲斐がありました。

There are some important points to keep in mind about buying these masks at Roadside Station Date-no-Sato RYŌZEN:

道の駅伊達の郷りょうぜんではマスクの購入についての注意点があります:

· Masks are put out for sale after the store receives a shipment. The sale times are not decided in advance.

· マスクは納品したら店頭に並びます。　時間は決まっていません。

· The availability is kept undetermined to prevent the congregation of customers.

· お客さんが密接しないよう、不定期に出していきます。

The Azuma Higan Sakura Tree at Koyanoiri　・　古谷ノ入のアズマヒガン桜

At this time, it is best that everyone avoid gathering and if possible, stay at home to stop the spread of the new coronavirus. However, there are places you can go to see the cherry blossoms bloom from inside your own car. For those who are either too far away or don’t have access to a car, Tony and I went to take some photos to share with you.
現在には、新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大防止ため、皆さんは集まらず、できれば家に留まることが一番です。しかし、車から桜を楽しめる場所は伊達市に何か所もあります。見に来ることができない皆さんのために、トニーと一緒に写真を撮りに行きました。

We visited the Azuma Higan Sakura at Koyanoiri in Tsukidate Town. This tree is said to have been planted by the Kanno family, who founded the local Kumano Shrine about 1,200 years ago and still reside on the property. The tree has bloomed beautifully every Spring for the past six hundred years and then some.
月舘町の古谷ノ入のアズマヒガン桜を見に行きました。この木は1，200年程前に氏神「熊野神社」を創建した菅野一族に植えられたと言われています。600年ほど前から春が来る度に美しく咲き誇っています。

In October, the tree is the center of a festival held in celebration of the local harvest, one signboard read. In the distant past, celebrations linked to the local sericulture industry were also held here. Hopefully people will be able to gather here again soon!
10月には、この木は地元の収穫祭の中心になります。ある看板にそうだと書いてあります。そして、昔は養蚕業界に関連するお祝いもここで開催されました。人々が再びここに集まることができる時間を楽しみにしています！
