Manga Artist Autograph Exhibit at the Yanagawa Museum of Art ・ 梁川美術館でまんが色紙展

The other day, I visited the Manga Artist Autograph Exhibit at the Yanagawa Museum of Art.
この間、梁川美術館の「まんが色紙展」を見に行きました。

The exhibit features illustrated autograph cards from the collection of Mr. KIMURA Tadao.
この展示は木村忠夫氏が集めた色紙を出展しています。

Though not a manga artist himself, Mr. Kimura founded the Japanese Manga Institute, which offered correspondence courses to aspiring manga artists.
木村氏は漫画家ではありませんでしたが、漫画家の卵のための通信講座を提供した日本漫画学院を設立しました。

He also founded the Manga Shimbun newspaper, and it was through conducting interviews with manga artists that he amassed this collection of illustrated autographs.
「漫画新聞」も創刊し、漫画家への取材をきっかけにこの色紙を集めたのです。

The exhibit features the illustrated autographs of famous manga artists.
この展示には有名な漫画家が描いた色紙があります。

The exhibit is not limited to illustrated autographs.
この展示は色紙に限りません。

There are other manga- and anime-related items, including an unopened bottle of whiskey!
その他に漫画とアニメに関する物があり、一本の未開封のウイスキーもあります!

In the past, I often read manga as a way to develop Japanese language skills.
過去には、僕は日本語能力が発達するようによく漫画を読みました。

The illustrations, combined with the presence of phonetic furigana characters to aid in the reading of Chinese characters, make manga a valuable aid in language acquisition.
絵もふりがなもありますので、漫画は言語習得に対して有益です。

This exhibit has inspired me to revive this study habit.
この展示は漫画読書による勉強を再開するように、僕の心を動かしました。

Gifts for the Guyanese Delegations ・ ガイアナ代表団への贈物

As the Arigatō Host Town for the Republic of Guyana, Date City is sending out boxes of presents.
ガイアナ共和国の復興ありがとうホストタウンとして、伊達市は贈物の箱を送ります。

Inside every box is an assortment of delicious food items, each with links to Date City.
箱の中には美味しい食品の詰め合わせがあり、すべては伊達市とゆかりのあるものです。

If you think they look good, you can find every item at Roadside Station Date-no-Sato RYŌZEN.
あなたが美味しそうと思えば、食品はすべて道の駅伊達の郷りょうぜんで見つけられます。

In addition, a number of non-edible items will also be sent.
更に、いくつかの食べられない物も送ります。

Guyana’s Olympic and Paralympic delegations can look forward to wonderful gifts from Date City!

Of course, everyone in Date City is looking forward to Guyana’s wonderful performances in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.
もちろん、伊達市の皆さんはガイアナ代表団の東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピックでの妙技を楽しみにしています。
